Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Niverville Car Wash ("we") collects and uses personal information through the Niverville Car Wash app (iPhone and Android) and website. We are located at 114 Main St, Niverville, Manitoba.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and phone number, and the email Apple or Google shares when you sign in with them.
Mailing address: only if you ask us to mail you a card. You can choose not to save it, and you can remove saved addresses.
Wash cards: the card numbers linked to your account, their balances, spending limits and automatic top-up settings.
Purchases: top-ups, card orders, refunds and receipts.
Problem reports: what you write, and any photos, videos or voice clips you attach.
Notifications: a device token so we can send you push notifications, if you allow them.

We do not see or store your full payment card number. Payments are handled by Stripe, which keeps your card details. We keep only a reference to the saved card and a label such as "Visa •••• 4242". Wash card balances are held by our card system provider, Nayax.

How we use it

To run your account, load value onto your wash cards, and process top-ups, orders and refunds.
To mail cards or arrange pickup at a partner location.
To answer problem reports and keep the car wash running.
To send receipts, sign-in codes and notifications about your account.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments) and Nayax (wash card balances).
Our hosting and email providers: Supabase (database and file storage), Fly.io (app server) and Resend (email), which store data and send email on our behalf.
Pickup partners see only what they need to hand over a card. They do not see your contact details or pickup code.
Anyone we're required to share with by law.

Some of these providers may store data outside Canada.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for receipts, tax and accounting records. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove what we don't have to keep by law.

Your choices

You can view and update your details in the app, remove saved addresses, turn off notifications in your phone's settings, or ask us for a copy of your information or to delete it.

Our obligations

We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
